A folk depiction of Lakshmi and Narayana. The divine pair are enthroned on an inverted lotus seat, with Lakshmi sitting on Vishnu’s lap. Narayana holds shankha, chakra, and padma while Lakshmi holds a lotus in her hands. Vishnu’s kiratamukuta is topped by a five-headed Sheshanaga, as the serpent’s body beautifully coils to form the back of Vishnu’s throne. Both deities are elaborately adorned with crowns, necklaces, armlets, bracelets, girdles, and anklets.
